‘Staying Relevant’ podcast jingle

This is a jingle I wrote (and recorded with my band, Kana) for the ‘Staying Relevant’ podcast, hosted by King of the Jungle, Sam Thompson, and Strictly star, Pete Wicks. They asked for jingle ideas to be sent in for them to choose for their podcast and this particular jingle was played on one of their episodes and dubbed ‘the best one we’ve had’.

The lyrics for the jingle incorporated some of the key messages and themes from the podcast:

• The days of the week the podcast is broadcast
• The PO Box address
• One of the catchphrases from the podcast (“If you don’t like swearing, go and f**k yourself”)
• Some amusing anecdotal information about the hosts (Pete liking goats, Sam and Pete being best mates etc)
